On October 25, 2025, employees of the TCC abducted a cleric of the Presentation Church of the UOC in the city of Chernivtsi — Protodeacon Valentin Makovsky.

According to the Telegram channel "Orthobuk - православна спільнота УПЦ," the clergyman was being held at the premises of the TCC in the city of Chernivtsi.
