Father Alexander Okruzhko, rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Dovzhok, Khmelnytskyi Oblast. Forcibly mobilized

April 8, 2026

On April 8, 2026, the rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, Father Alexander Okruzhko, was taken to the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRC).

According to available information, within a single day the clergyman was expeditiously processed through the military medical commission (MMC), after which he was deemed fit for military service.

Immediately after the commission, Father Alexander was placed in the barracks of one of the military units in the city. His mobile phone was also confiscated.

Current Status

According to available information, Father Alexander Okruzhko was forcibly mobilized. He is currently serving in the military or being held.
