Kotsiubynske, Seizure of the Dormition Church of the UOC, Carried Out by an Organized Criminal Group, Kyiv Region

On February 3, 2024, illegal territorial-community meetings were held in Kotsiubynske, during which falsified documents were created for two UOC churches.

The scheme was overseen by former Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district head Serhii Voznyi, who, along with his team, had previously been honored by OCU leader Epifaniy Dumenko.

Representatives of the religious communities were again deliberately excluded.

\\On the morning of March 13, 2024, a group of people in military uniform broke down the doors of the Dormition Church. Surveillance cameras captured the presence of Ihor Hryshachov, an associate of Serhii Voznyi, who assisted in forging documents for the church.

The criminals cut the locks on the church doors. One of the bandits noticed the surveillance camera and broke it.
