Deacon Vasyl Marko. Forced Mobilization of a UOC Clergyman

On September 2, 2025, employees of the Ternopil Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TCC) abducted Deacon Vasyl Marko, a cleric of the cathedral church of the Ternopil Diocese of the UOC in honor of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and Sophia.

This was reported by the media outlet "Pershyi Kozatskyi" ("First Cossack"), citing the Ternopil Diocese of the UOC.

In addition, the diocese reported the forced mobilization of several clerics: Archimandrite Pafnutiy; Protoiereus Ihor; Protoiereus Ihor; Protoiereus Heorhiy; Protoiereus Heorhiy; Protoiereus Ioann; Protoiereus Heorhiy.
