On March 21, 2026, in Kharkiv, representatives of the TCC detained Hieromonk Daniil and novice Vadim from the Holy Protection Men's Monastery of the UOC.

According to reports from Orthodox resources and believers, the cleric and the monastery resident were forcibly detained by TRC officers and taken to an unknown location without the prior delivery of summonses in the manner prescribed by law.

Current Status

At this time, there is no information regarding the whereabouts or further fate of Hieromonk Daniil and novice Vadim.
